Mabion SA strategy is the development, production and sales of new generation biotechnological drugs thanks to humanized monoclonal antibodies technology. This approach, independently developed by Mabion, is a high-tech on the highest world level. The process of humanization of monoclonal antibodies, which is the leading achievement of biotechnology, enables the production of more effective and less toxic targeted drugs.

From 2007, when the company was set up, it has gained the competence for designing, production and market introduction of recombinant protein technology drugs. Currently, Mabion is working on seven biotechnological drugs, used in oncology and metabolic diseases treatment.

Mabion SA is the only biotechnological company in Poland which develops humanized therapeutic monoclonal antibodies. The technology is more complicated and more difficult to up-scale and adopt by other biotech companies, even those with experience in recombinant protein production, than the production of small proteins like insulin. Company estimates, that developed drugs will be the first humanized monoclonal antibodies produced in Poland.

Biosimilar drugs manufactured by Mabion will be competitive against reference drugs and will upscale the effective anti-cancer therapy in Poland and in the world. The idea of biotechnological drugs which are biosimilar to originator products is to offer a more approachable price with comparable quality and efficacy.
