Conference of Polish Mass Spectrometry Society

Conference of Polish Mass Spectrometry Society | September 4-7, 2023 | Warsaw (POL)

Meet Mabion at 7th Conference of the Polish Mass Spectrometry Society.

The Polish Mass Spectrometry Society (PMSS) is a scientific, non-profit organization established by the people and for the people interested in all aspects of theory and practice in mass spectrometry and related topics. Organization is a member of the European Society for Mass Spectrometry and International Mass Spectrometry Foundation.

The purpose of the event is to develop relationships and contacts between research, research and implementation units and industry, as well as to enable the exchange of experience between experienced and young researchers applying the mass spectrometry technique in work carried out in the field of various scientific disciplines. The conference includes a two-day training course for users of mass spectrometers and separation techniques.

Our Senior Biochemistry Specialist, Mateusz Dobrowolski will represent Mabion as the person with the most knowledge in the field of mass spectrometry in our company. He will be sharing his insights and knowledge accumulated over more than 5 years of work at Mabion. From the very inception of his journey, Mateusz has been developing analytical methods in the field of chromatography coupled with MS detection. In the year 2020, he embarked on his Implementation Doctorate Project, delving deeper into this wide domain.

It is with great pride that we highlight Mateusz’s most recent accomplishment – his leadership in the successful execution one of external projects. This latest achievement involved the meticulous development and validation of a peptide mapping method for the SARS-CoV-2 rS protein of the Nuvaxovid vaccine, used in confirming its identity. Notably, this method has now become an integral component of the release testing process for vaccines manufactured globally.
